Advocate for Post Adoption Svcs
NYSCCC needs your help to convince NYS legislators to enact legislation to create a statewide post adoption program for NYS. Not only is post adoption services the right thing to do for children and their families but it will save NYS money too.
You can help by writing, emailing, or calling key NYS legislators and urging them to create statewide post adoption services. Below is a sample letter that you can use (or update to reflect your personal thoughts) to send to legislators on the key contact’s list.
After you send your letter please ask friends, families, and anyone you know to also send a letter requesting NYS to provide statewide post adoption services. NYSCCC will be visiting the legislators in person to promote funding post adoption services. Together we can make a difference!
