Did you know there are over 90 foster and adoptive parent groups all over New York State? NYSCCC has spent much of the summer reaching out to these groups so that we can post the most current contact and services offered information for every county. Please check out our map of NYS FC/A agencies and parent support groups! Groups vary across the State - some are for foster and adoptive parents, some are for parents adopting children from specific countries and others are for those who adopted older children. Groups offer support to families, information to parents about local policies and guidance when parents are facing something stressful such as an allegation of maltreatment.
